Confirmed today on SSN and costing Celtic £9M for a 4 year contract. I know Rodgers rates Edouard highly and that regard is clear with this huge level of transfer fee. No doubt more transfers to follow in the coming weeks as the manager attempts to 'freshen up' the team for next season.

According to PSG the fee in his release clause was around 7 million euros, so celtic have paid around 6 million for the boy.

Many Hoops' fans will debate if this was 'good business' or not but trust ultimately placed on Rodgers' judgement and we'll see if he eventually 'moves on' at a higher transfer fee or not.
