Since the last unbeaten record in 1915-17 - Celtic still unbeaten!

Partick Thistle thumped by the Hoops tonight in a resounding 0-5 win and their unbeaten league record remains intact with Hearts probably being the final 'victims' at the weekend to conclude a piece of Scottish footie history. Already past a century of points and Sparky scores their 100th goal. Roberts 'unplayable' tonight and I think the Dons and Derek McInnes will be hoping he loses this kinda impressive form in the Scottish Cup final. However, there are other on form Celtic players to fret about as well!

Thistle were on holiday mode to be fair, but celtic played very well.

Noticed sparky giving rodgers some stick when he got subbed, rodgers responding with the old school thumb pointed over the shoulder Laugh

The only thing that stands between them and the treble now is bobby madden.

Had a great night in Maryhill yesterday.
party atmosphere from the start, should have been 3 up before we scored.
I know paddy got the plaudits, quite rightly but I though Broonie was immense, doing the simple thing quickly and dictating the tempo of the whole game.

As to Mr madden will provide a little context

Straight red for Wanyama:

Phantom penalty for Dundee Utd against Celtic:

Madden tells Griffiths to eff off:

Millers two footer, Celtic player assaulted - play on! And that Griffiths tackle:

St Mirren player clearly dives, Madden awards penalty:

Looks as bad as Craig Thomson's 'black history' against Hibs edgie! It looks like Celtic/Rodgers will just have to win it 'in spite of the referee', something that Celtic's famous captain and Lisbon Lion, Billy McNeil, strongly alluded to in his autobiography!

Madden is a cheating bastard. Thats long been without doubt for me!

I don't think even he will stop this celtic team though.

I still wonder to this day how many iffy decisions deem a referee to be finally challenged by his governing authority! The Dougie MacDonald fiasco was never the only one in all the years that I've watched footie in Scotland and yet there are so few of these kinda affairs to refer to!

It would take so many dodgy decisions for this to happen that the man would sent to jail, not an earthly will we stop Celtic

It's fairly well organised where Hearts are trying to block 'pockets of space' in front of their defence but 'caught out cold' just after HT by Sparky who is often the 'scourge of Hearts' when he plays against them - 1-0 and a good downward header and goal in a game that I don't think Celtic are firing in top gear but now 2-0 ahead while down the road at Firhill Aberdeen currently slaughtering Partick Thistle 0-6 but noticeable that their star player is Ryan Christie again with a 'hat trick' and he's a loan Celtic player who will not be allowed to play in the Scottish Cup final! Will he be loaned out to the Dons next season? I doubt it somehow!
106 pts for an unbeaten Hoops team and party time imminent as the Celtic fans celebrate a historical moment and also the 50th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions' success.

Aye,think they played a bit within themselves the day maybe with an eye on the final. Thought Roberts tortured that young hertz left back the day and was the difference.

Despite the quality of the league its still a real achievement. Shows you what a good manager can do,as I dont think he's changed it that much.
