Don't bring on the Munchengladbach?

This away CL fixture looks like a reversal of Celtic's home tie when the BL club were hit by a number of injuries but were still far better than the hoops and had them well sussed. Celtic's away Euro stats are dreadful and I think it will be a 'long night' for Rodgers and his team, a side that is very good in domestic footie terms but Euro footie is a far more challenging prospect at the top level.

BMG are a tidy outfit,it wouldnae surprise me if they qualify. I cant see anything but them winning comfortably tonight.

Celtic should just go out and attack them, they have nothing to lose.

Exciting match i thought the night, nice and open. Celtic played well with brown and dembele both excellent.

A draw was probably fair though all things considered, but what a chance missed by young mcgregor near the end that could have put celtic equal in the group with BMG.

FT, 1-1 and not a bad result for Celtic. The hoops certainly 'put in a shift' during this match but still lacking that bit of quality to finish off 'ten man' Borussia! But it's another 'non win' to add to a huge list of historical away Euro fixtures that hardly has any victory in it and Celtic still entrenched at the foot of their CL group.

Makes it virtually impossible for them to qualify now, they needed to win that game. They play City away and Barca at home, games they are no likely to win and they need BM to lose both their games as well. This group turned with that loss at home to BM, they needed to get a win in that one to swing it their way.

They were never going to qualify from that group ffs. It's the hardest group pretty much. The best they could hope for was europa league, and BMG are favourites to get that now.

Sorry, you are right, I didn't mean qualify, I meant getting 3rd and going into the Europa League!

Also watching that celtic v BMG tie last night you were struck by just how good the atmosphere is in these german stadiums. later the man city v barca game felt drab in comparison, even after city got a fantastic win.

There is a lot to be learned from german football. On and off the park.
