Celtic on fire!! Bring on the Man City superstars!

Celtic 6 Kilmarnock 1 and suddenly all looks rosy in the Celtic garden again and the hoops will be looking forward to taking on the FA Premier League toppers in a challenging Champions League home fixture - it could be interesting or it could be another 'tanking'! Rolleyes

middle to front celtic look a much better side under rodgers. As we've said before though, this is a huge gulf in class to try and match up to. I don't think it will be the demolition job we saw in the nou camp though. maybe 1-3 citeh.

Cracking start by Celtic, 1-0 up after 3 mins and even though Citeh equalised Celtic have gone back in front, and deservedly so!! Can they keep this up??

Excellent result for Celtic, they really went for it and although I am sure they are disappointed to have been in front three times only to be pegged back each time, this result may just be the one that gets them that 3rd spot and a chance in the Europa League after Xmas. City really missed De Bruyne and Celtic took advantage of his abscence!!

That Celtic 1st goal was definitely offside but it's been a cracking 'open game' all the same! A good, game to watch!
FT, 3-3 and honours even. This result will suit City with 4 pts accumulated in their CL group after their 1st two fixtures completed.

I know it sounds daft but the crowd is a big leveller at celtic park. They have a wee chance of getting third because of that.

Less than a year ago they were getting pumped by molde. Their board has 'upped the stakes' by getting in a manager with a track record. All the jibes about scottish fitba on football focus look a bit daft this morning cos city were totally amateur at the back,a team that plays like liverpool will cos them loads of bother.

Agree about the crowd at Celtic Park. Pat Nevin I think it was said yesterday that while a lot of teams visiting will have no problem coping with that atmosphere, its actually the lift it gives the Celtic team that probably has the most telling effect on the performances.
