Had to laugh at Robbie Nielson after the Celtic v Hearts match when he said that Celtic just buy their players but Hearts develop theirs.

If he had bothered to check the squads for the match, he would have noticed that Celtic had just as many players as Hearts who had came through our youth team. In addition, he would also have seen that we had a few other youngsters who we had bought with the intention of developing.

All of this raises the question, is Nielson blinded by bigotry or is he just ignorant? My guess is a bit of both.

It was a ludicrous argument in the context of that game where Celtics team was just as "homegrown" and he's taken some stick for it.

His overall gist was correct though,doubt he's bigoted.

I'm not so sure Jim, I think his hatred of Celtic could be seen when he was ranting after the match.

I also disagree that Hearts develop more players than Celtic as both clubs currently have 6 players they developed in their first team squad. The only difference is we can buy better players than Hearts because we have more money and are a bigger club, so more players want to play for us.

Maybe its levein's problem with sellick. He's had a grudge since that big donkey cascariono gave him a skelp.
