Tomorrow sees the start of the medals races with the Finals of the Men's and Women's Quadruple Sculls and the Women's Pair.

The Men qualified for their Final through the repechages and are only 4th fastest of the 6 crews.

The Women do not have an entry in the Quadruple Sculls, but have a serious Gold Medal chance in the Pair where defending champions Heather Stanning and Helen Glover are unbeaten in the last 5 years. Despite a very ordinary day (by their standards) in the heats, they still had the fastest time of the day and row in the Semi-finals tomorrow lunchtime. The Final is scheduled for 4.30pm.

GB's Katherine Grainger and Vicki Thornley have won Silver in the Women's Double Sculls, only being caught by Poland in the final 200m.

The Men's Quadruple Sculls finished a distant 5th with the Men's Pair a distant 4th. The winning NZ Pair of Eric Murray and Hamish Bond are now unbeaten in 69 races. The Men's Double Sculls also finished a long way behind in 5th.

The Women's Pair Final featuring Helen Glover and Heather Stanning is set for 6pm tonight.

CORRECTION - Glover and Stanning are in tomorrow's Women's Pair Final at 3.04pm per the BBC Olympics website.

There are another 5 Medal races during the earlier part of the afternoon, including GB chances in the Men's Single Sculls and the Men's Four, an event GB have won for the past 4 Olympics.

2 Golds in 30 minutes for GB. Glover and Stanning retain their Olympic title in the Women's Pair and Louloudis, Gregory, Sbihi and Nash make it 5 wins from the last 5 Olympics for the Men's Four.

And a silver medal now for the women's 8s. Smile

But it's GOLD for the men's 8s. Big Grin

Considering the rowers were set a target of 6 medals, the haul of 3 golds and 2 silvers might be considered a "failure". Nonsense!!! GB still top the medal table ahead of Germany and New Zealand. Well done to the GB rowers and the all the backroom staff.
