I read that he had been given permission to talk to Charlton, technically now League one and without a manager!!

And he didn't come to the same conclusion at Bumhole Lane!!!

So what does everyone think - up and coming manager or ex-fan who played for them returning hero type manager? So many of the latter end up failing but not all.

As with every season they are down there, the blunts should have the budget and infrastructure to get promoted!! But will Wilder be able to trim the excessive squad enough to be able to bring players in??
