Mcmanus umm not sure about, I mean Paton/Megginson/Clark might have banged a few in at lower level but never looked like real starters, Shankland may get a better chance to show next season

Suprised about Barry Robson, i`d have thought thats why we bought McClean

Not suprised too much about the others, proves that McInnes will sign a proper left back though, Robertson was never good enough and Shaugnassy was cover at best

Striker Declan McManus has rejected the offer of a new contract at Aberdeen and joins six senior players who are leaving Pittodrie without new deals. League One side Fleetwood Town have agreed to sign striker Declan McManus from Aberdeen on a free transfer on a three-year deal.Dons boss Derek McInnes said: "Declan has decided his future lies elsewhere and we wish him all the best in his future career.

"We want to continue to work with players committed to Aberdeen."

The 20-year-old had been on a season-long loan to Scottish League One side Greenock Morton, where his 23 goals helped them to the title.

Veteran midfielder Barry Robson has been offered a new contract.

But defenders Joe Shaughnessy, Clark Robertson and Craig Murray, plus midfielders Kieran Gibbons, Jamie Masson and Andrew Driver are leaving.

However, goalkeeper Danny Rogers, who spent the majority of the season on loan at Championship side Dumbarton, has signed a new contract.

Defender Donervon Daniels will return to his parent club West Bromwich Albion at the end of his loan.

It had already been announced that captain Russell Anderson was retiring and taking up a business development role at Pittodrie.
