Oops Big game bottlers, thankfully no Celtic fans on the board to give us grief
Celtic`s movement on the counter coupled with there finishing was just too good on the day, hope we move on well from this

Scoreline aside, how big did you think the gap was? From what I heard you did OK in the first half before the goal. I can't see you selling all your top players Dundee United-style so is this an Aberdeen side still on the up or is this where you think you can realistically get to?

I remember Man Utd leading the EPL and losing 5-0 and 6-3 and 6-1, it happens in football
I`m realistic Celtic are better but I dont think there anywhere near their best or have a manager who can really bring the best out of them as Lenny/Strachan did, signing Mackay Steven/Armstrong was intelligent as I believe every squad needs that Scots backbone rather than a mixed bag of foreign players
Certainly did very well until Hayes went off, Despite the fact Anderson will probalby retire in the summer(along with Robson) and Jack may be off I still expect progress and maybe the real gem of the team is the manager who has proved a great man manager, a thinker, great when addressing the press, trys to play decent football, etc pretty much what all clubs want from a boss!
Definitely need a goalkeeper of real class and a true left back (Yep Shinnie name will possibly be thrown round again), Mclean showed we still have money available for the right player and the way the club brings through young players wisely and continues to invest in its youth policy. Love the look of the squad, some very clever additions like Reynolds, McGinn, Rooney, Hayes, Goodwillie etc some of whom always had talent and just needed refocusing after moving south.
For me now its just keep winning until mathematically impossible not to win the title, the Old Firm for so long was all about the battle for third and to me that was a defeatist attitude regardless of finances and things, although the Dons probably wont win weve given them a hell of a battle they didnt expect and fingers crossed for a little Euro journey next year. Giving Celtic a scare is good for the whole SPL !

You guys should take it as a compliment that they bought those two in January at all. Lawwell isn't known for his eagerness to spend cash in January at the best of times, and Thompson recently revealed no one else was interested in the pair so it wasn't a case of beating anyone to it. It was purely to make as certain as possible that they beat you guys to the title.
I'm looking forward to seeing us take you on in the league again...in 2016. It's good for Scotland to have a strong Aberdeen side up there.
