Here's a sneak preview of Mark Cartwright's next signing:

Lincoln City were founded in 1884 and have played at Sincil Bank since 1895.
I don't like the badge which is based on the Lincoln Imp in the Cathedral. I've never liked that sort of thing.

The highlights from that one

And that included the last goals scored by Town players at our ground until Crawley.

What our end of the table looks like. We've let go of the rope and dropped out of the top 6. They're clinging on to the top half.

There are quite a few to have played for both. I haven't put them all in as I'm sure others have done it better than me.
Those pictured are Jamie McCombe, Frank Sinclair, Harry Toffolo, Lasse Sorenson.
Boom Boom ended his career at Lincoln and also had a spell as Caretaker there.
As well as those players, we have been managed by the ever loyal Jacko; Peter Jackson (also played for us) and the Danny and Nicky Cowley Combo. Jacko is also well thought of by the Imps and I think he had tremendous support from them when he was having cancer treatment. We took on the Cowleys when, as a lower league opponent, they beat us in the League Cup. That was the end for Siewert and in came the Cowleys.

If you're able to go for the day, there's The International Bomber Command Centre a couple of miles down the road.

Nice one, Amelia. I think, given the choice, I'd rather go to the Bomber Command Museum than the match. Whistle

That robot goalie looks familiar, why's he not wearing a Town shirt? There's bugger all chance of Cartwright signing someone so robotic that can actually score.

Hell most of us old farts on here have more chance of scoring in the Acca in Halifax in the old farts corner. Allegedly the oldest nightclub in the UK, not just West Yorkshire. Well, according to their own publicity. https://www.acapulcohalifax.com/ They have at least replaced the old sticky carpet with a new sticky carpet, so I'm told by younger family members .....

I never had a night out in Halifax. I frequented the Frontier, Panache and Zhivagos. Sometimes Wakefield.

Only been to Lincoln twice, despite going to Lincolnshire multiple times a year

First time was for my passport interview and the second was for a random day out where we ended up scaling the castle walls and seeing the magna carta.

Football, not yet and not this time either
Another day, another door, another high, another low

We've just been to see the Magna Catra in the Castle and done the castle walls walk, all very good and worth a visit especially when the weather is good. Next stop the cathedral, bomber command center is tomorrow now as it's closed on Mondays.

The Mrs has gone in the cathedral, being a good yorkshire lad I've given it a swerve....mainly due to £12 entrance fee.
