LAST MATCH
We ended the year just like we started the year with 3 very welcome points. We had the first real chance when Vaulks should have done better with a header. We took the lead when Cads played Johnson through on the inside left and he finished well from 12 yards. PNE had a few chance but didn't test Dawson. Onto the second and Preston nearly levelled but there effort hit the bar. Preston were edging it but we were defending well. Then near the end Byers was given a straight red, if it was for the challenge it will surely be rescinded, unless something else happened that we don't know about. We managed to hang on and reduce the deficit to 6 points.

If they can stay there is another matter as there is only a 5 point gap between themselves and 14th spot. There form of late has been mixed with 3 wins and 3 defeats in there last 6 games. They are managed by Liam Rosenior who has been in charge for just over a year. They have several threats, Connelly is there leading scorer with 8 followed by Delap & Tufan with 7 each, Tufan scoring a hat trick at there place earlier in the season

Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.
