Arnold Palmer Invitational (Day One)
An exciting first day with Jason Day leading by one shot on -6 from Scott, Leishman, Steele, Stenson & Merritt in a closely bunched field. Day was undoubtedly the star performer as he returned to the form of the end of 2015. However all four of our guys are in great shape to make a challenge over the weekend & this course lends itself to single shots shaping a round. For example, Justin Rose played horribly today but two glorious eagles pushed him from fighting to beat the cut to two shots off the lead.
Some big names fared less well - Woodland +1, Kisner +1, Lee +2, McIlroy +3, Streelman +6.
Adam Scott 8/1 -5 Tied 2nd
Paul Casey 50/1 -4 Tied 7th
William McGirt 80/1 -3 Tied 17th
Scott Brown 100/1 -2 Tied 27th
