BMW Masters - Day Four
A brilliantly exciting final day. I was correct that Garcia & Bjerregaard would bottle it and with Jaidee & An both missing putts to make the play off, it was left to Broberg & Reed to go head to head for the title. The contrast was compelling - the cool Swede against the fiery American in fading light. Broberg played the Playoff hole perfectly and maybe another star is born.
Justin Rose 6/1 -15 Tied 7th
Branden Grace 18/1 -9 Tied 22nd
Danny Willett 25/1 -7 Tied 28th
Matt Fitzpatrick 30/1 -12 Tied 13th
Kiradech Aphibarnrat 50/1 -6 Tied 31st
Hao Tong Li 100/1 -4 Tied 41st
Our guys did all right overall and Rose would have won but for a poor second round. In the end, he was just too far back to make the play off. No-one could argue though that Broberg was a worthy winner.

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
