European Open
Disappointing with just a shared place on Karlberg. Could have been so much more with Karlberg dropping four shots in his final four holes on Friday. When I described the likely winner as a top putter a a good GIR man, I was describing the eventual winner, Thongchai Jaidee, a player I have done well with over many years. Sadly I overlooked him here & we move on.
Max Kieffer 33/1 (General) -4 T48
David Howell 40/1 (General) -2 Missed Cut
Fabrizio Zanotti 40/1 (General) -4 T48
Rikard Karlberg 50/1 (Paddy Power) -12 T5 PLACE
Alejandro Canizares 55/1 (General) -8 T24

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
