Russian Open
Robert Dinwiddie 20/1 (General) -5 Tied 28th
Craig Lee 40/1 (Coral) -11 Tied 8th
Simon Wakefield 150/1 (SKY Bet) -6 Tied 23rd
A bit of a disappointment as Craig Lee should have at least got a place here. He missed eight puts of under ten foot, leaving six of them short. His approach to the 15th cost him dear when instead of an easy birdie, he dropped a shot. Those two shots would have lifted him to third & who knows what that pressure would have done to the leader as he would have been one behind. At least we got a good run for our money and he is a player worth watching out for again.
Dinwiddie blew it in the first round. After that, three rounds in the 60s showed us what could have been. Wakefield lost his chance with a third round 75. Otherwise, he would have had a top five finish.

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
