Alex Noren is the 8/1 favourite here with Thomas Pieters at 9/1. Noren is in great form but has tended to dip slightly after a win so I am going for Pieters here plus a few decent each way bets.

It will probably take -20 to win here and Scrambling, GIR & Putting are the main qualities required so we know what kind of players we need to get into contention. Here are my team.

Thomas Pieters 9/1
David Horsey 40/1
Stephen Gallacher 50/1
Joakim Lagergren 66/1
Alejandro Canizares 80/1

Good Luck!

Football League Bets

Six small bets for this midweek's football. All matches are TWO POINT bets.

Brighton v Wolves

This should be a low corners match. The Seagulls last five home corners have been 8-9-8-6-7 while four of Wolves six away matches have failed to reach the 10.5 Corner line. Bet at 8/11.

QPR v Bristol C

Rangers home corner totals have been 15-15-12-10-12 and City's away corner totals have been 15-15-16-11-12-4 so a high total looks good value. Bet Over 10.5 Corners at 2.00

Cardiff v Sheff Wed

This looks a likely low corners game. City's home corners have been 4-8-7-16-7-4 while Wednesday's away corners have been 8-6-4-13. Bet Under 10.5 Corners at 8/11

Colchester v Morecambe

This should be a high scoring game. The U's recent home matches have totalled 5-5-5-3-0 goals while the Shrimpers away matches have totalled 5-3-4-3 goals. Bet on Over 2.5 Goals at 1.88.

Exeter v Cambridge

This should be a low scoring game with the Grecians home totals being 1-1-2-2-0 while the U's away goal totals have been 2-1-0-3-3-2. Bet on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.90

Portsmouth v Notts Co

This should be a high scoring game with Pompey's last four home games having 3-6-6-3 goals while the Magpie's last five away matches had 3-4-5-2-4 goals. Bet on Over 2.5 Goals at 1.98

Correct Score Bets

Ipswich v Burton 0-0 1-0

Reading v Aston Villa 1-0 1-1
Cardiff v Sheff Wed 0-1 0-2
Preston v Huddersfield 1-0 2-0

Marc Warren & Andy Sullivan lead by one on -14 from Farhbring & Harrington. Other notables include Lipsky -12, Noren -8, Fleetwood -7, Colsaert -5,

Thomas Pieters 9/1 -4 Tied 65th
David Horsey 40/1 -7 Tied 37th
Stephen Gallacher 50/1 -7 Tied 37th
Joakim Lagergren 66/1 -10 Tied 10th
Alejandro Canizares 80/1 -7 Tied 37th

Lagergren is well placed to get a place but I feel that Warren & Sullivan might go on a birdie fest over the weekend and it might take -24 to win this unless the weather intervenes, which it might do tomorrow.

CIMB Classic (Day Three)

Lahiri leads by four shots on -19 from Thomas & Knox. Other notables include Hahn -14, Matsuyama -14, Bradley -12, Scott -11, Grillo -11, Cabrera Bello -11, Leishman -11, Garcia -10, Hend -10, Reed -9, Casey -9, Poulter -7, Grace -5, Els Par,

Justin Thomas 18/1 -15 Tied 2nd
Kevin Na 22/1 -6 Tied 40th
Gary Woodland 33/1 -2 Tied 57th
Danny Lee 175/1 -1 Tied 60th

Four consecutive bogeys around the turn pushed Thomas back into the pack today although he did finish better to show he might compete tomorrow. Lahiri should win but it will be close after that.

A weakened field here with the big hitters at the WGC. Chris Kirk heads the betting at 14/1 with Kizzire the only other player under 30/1. My plan is to go with Kizzire, the experience of Toms and a couple of long shots who are ready to step it up to the next level.

Patton Kizzire 18/1
David Toms 40/1
Martin Flores 66/1
Whee Kim 66/1

WGC HSBC Championships

Rory McIlroy is 11/2 favourite just ahead of Dustin Johnson at 6/1 with the field at 22/1, including Casey, Matsuyama, Stenson, Scott, Thomas, Garcia & Reed.

Not going to be going too big this week so looking for players with a good course record and / or in good form at a variety of prices.

Russell Knox 40/1
Alex Noren 55/1
Alexander Levy 110/1

Good Luck!
