A tricky one to assess, played over three courses, St Andrews, Kingsbarns & Carnoustie. Hard to judge how players will perform after the Ryder Cup so I am looking at high priced players with a decent track record on links courses, particularly these three.

Louis Oosterhuizen leads the market at 16/1 with Grace, Pieters & Wiesberger close behind. Players who were at Hazeltine last week include Pieters, Kaymer, Willett, Cabrera Bello, Fitzpatrick, Westwood and Clarke. I shall give them all a swerve this week. Here are my value picks.

Alex Noren 22/1
Tommy Fleetwood 33/1
Thorbjorn Olesen 100/1
Paul Dunne 125/1
Paul Lawrie 200/1
Christian Bezuidenhout 350/1
Oliver Wilson 500/1

Good Luck!

Alax Noren leads on -8 by one shot from Ross Fisher. Other Notables include Cabrera Bello -2, Pieters -2, Kaymer -1, Oosthuizen -1, Kjeldsen -1, Lowry Par, Grace +1, Weisberger +1, Willett +1, McDowell +2, Westwood +3, Fitzpatrick +4. This has been played over three courses and the cut is after 54 holes so the contest isn't even until then but Noren has played Carnoustie, the toughest course, so should be in great shape to go very close.

Thorbjorn Olesen 100/1 +1 Tied 90th
Paul Dunne 125/1 Par Tied 69th

Two goals for Matt Green today so he is cut to 20/1 to be L2 Leading Goalscorer.

Doncaster now 11/4 for L2 and Carlisle cut to 8/1 after impressive victory.

-3 and under (Top 53 & Ties) make the cut for the final round today so we we have four players still in the mix out of 168 players. Hatton will take some beating but could be close for the places.
