Hibs transfers in and out, 2022

Hibs sign Ryan Schofield from Huddersfield Town on a season-long loan. Good business for Hibs after second choice keeper Kevin Dabrowski suffered a shoulder ligament injury. Good business for Schofield as a bench-warmer, waiting for Marshall to get injured.

Looks like Doidgy gonna be offloaded to Killie - better late than never and good luck to Killie and McInnes if they get any change out of him as a striker! Also Hibs in negotiations to sign up Swindon's striker, McKirdy. He looks like he can definitely score goals, but could be a "firebrand" character with previous confrontational incidents against certain referees. Possibly one more player coming in based on Johnson's previous comments/gripes last week.

The McKirdy deal has sadly stalled, Hibs apparently "flaffing about" and consequently Swindon not "playing ball" (pardon the pun!). IMO we are in deep shit unless Johnson/Gordon have an alternative target(s). They are well aware of the team deficiencies in certain areas of the pitch - will not impress anybody if they "sit on their hands" and do nowt!! Gordon being "slaughtered" on Hibs social media tonight and no wonder!! Last min panic-buying "on the cards"? Nothing new there - deja vu!! IMO no proper accountable director of football, an age old criticism!!!

McKirdy signs !! Not sure about this one, his record looks good but i've heard he can be a bit of a bam. And with our refs ?

Also signed Will Fish from Man Utd on loan, a CB. And a Ukrainian Striker Mykola Kukharevych.

So on the surface of things the manager has been backed.

Looks like a game (v Swindon) of "who blinks first" with the McKirdy deal. Hibs got him anyway - well done! And they signed up a Ukrainian striker on a loan deal - Mykola Kukharevych. This is an interesting signing - could be a vg goal scorer as well. Not sure re Will Fish TBH - a young CB "farmed out" for experience?
