LAST MATCH

In typical Wednesday fashion we go to a team who hadn't lost in 15 games and win. We got off to the perfect when Berahino swept in from a corner, though there keeper should have done better. It was 0-2 when Gregory steered a Bannan corner into the corner.. Then the goal of the season when Bannan picked up a clearance and sent a dipping shot from 40 yards past a startled keeper. Dean then got injured and shortly afterwards Parrott latched onto a through ball and finished well. 1-3 HT. Onto the second and MK had a lot of the ball but we defended well. MK did make it 2-3 with a nice free kick in injury time to set up a few nervous minutes but we held out for a valuable 3 points.

THE MATCH

Next up in our playoff push we host Crewe at Hillsborough. Crewe have already been relegated so have nowt to play for apart from spoiler. Chris Long is there leading scorer with 9 goals. They sacked there manage David Artell not long ago after losing 15 out of 16 games and Alex Morris is there interim boss as of now, which seems to have done the trick as they beat Wimbledon 3-1 in his first game in charge. Any other  team and this would be a straightforward game, but this is Sheffield Wednesday so expect a 90 minutes of huffing and puffing Doh  Doh

Hhhhh
No Dean Hutch Or Spider so expect we will have to suffer Dunkley and Palmer! As this a home game I would play Hunt at RB with NML above him and Bench storey as Dunkley will offer no protection.
Don't think I'll be here for this one after a few days off work Tuesday fully booked up with American Canadian and French money Wink

Already relegated teams, like Crewe are dangerous. They won their last one since it didn't matter anymore.
I can still remember battering Leicester when we were relegated from the Prem and had nowt to play for.

Tbf stateside I watched the Crewe highlights and Wimbledon gifters them 3 goals and missed about 5 themselves .
They play with one line striker and ate not the footballing Crewe of old !
We need to take our chances and hope Dunkley doesn't have a mare !!

Wimbledon 1 up

As it stands Doncaster will go down .

Oxford are the only team that will play Doncaster and at home on the last day so you wouldn't bet against 3pts here .

Pompey still in with a chance 1 up ..
