I'm perversely glad, because there's been too much dozy optimism from some corners of the sporting media about our batsmen scoring big on a couple of flat tracks. How the hell have we reached 200? I turned the Wales game on at 7:43 with England on around 130-9 expecting the Windies to have bowled us out and be about a score or two behind us at stumps. Windies bowlers doing an England bowlers performance on the last pair? Or the last pair showing the rest of the England squad how to grow a pair?
