Newell signs up on a new three year contract. Probably just earned it, but sadly been unlucky with injuries. Otherwise would've progressed more positively during his time at ER Stadium.

Hibs have signed up ex Scotland hero/goalie, David Marshall, for next season. I'm happy with that as never totally taken with Matt Macey TBH! What I do find curious is the fact Hibs are signing players without a new manager "at the helm".

Welcome aboard Marsh. Good signing i think, even for just 1 season.

I've always thought he was a decent goalie. It wouldn't surprise me if he agreed to come when Maloney was here (they were teammates at celtic ?) and has decided to press on with it anyway, as he clearly wants to come home now.
