Always liked The Biscuitman; with his physique and undoubted holding skills he could, and should, have been a top player. If only he was a bit more ship's biscuit and less jammy dodger.
Didn't make the Moyes connection - you would've thought he'd have been the last in the queue to sign him.........maybe he's got a "pay when you play" sort of deal.

Likeable bloke tho - hope he does well

Sunderland needed striker cover. Borini is out for 3 months. All they had left was Defoe. DD Angry Angry

Stoke boss Mark Hughes will have another chance to sign West Brom striker Saido Berahino, 23, in January or next summer, says chairman Peter Coates. (Stoke Sentinel)

Wales forward Hal Robson-Kanu, 27, turned down "silly-money offers" to join West Brom on a free transfer on Wednesday. (Times - subscription required)

My vote says he will be - ah well, more boring selection play. I'm sure some of the players that have left would have been better had they been allowed to play as they were known to play.

Whats happening with Macmarillan - whatever, each time I've seen him he's been ok.

Just three or four years ago this guy was playing for AC Milan and had a lovely touch and a good crosser of the ball. That said we would be his 3rd club in 10 months, I don't know the reasons and they could be quite legitimate.

All in all, well worth a look IMO.

Here you go thought I would have a quick look and see if I could find anything from his Milan days and came across this. Smile

PEANUTS!

(that reminds me: the peanuts are 5p cheaper at Lidl this week. That's a saving of over £2 a year. Wonder if Jonny's wife's aware.)
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with
