Was talking to one former member of our Forum, who said they left because it felt too much like an old boys club with too much foul language.

While that obviously isn't an issue to us on here, it maybe could explain why the number of regular posters has dropped from around 80 to about 15 since the 606 days. I remember when Smudge did the prediction league, there being over 50 players.

On the Wednesday Forum on Facebook, there are over 3000 members (including SuperChris57 & GassyOwl) and over 250 posting every week.

Just a few thoughts if you want to increase numbers. On the other hand, we can keep it to us 15 but numbers will probably drop soon due to several members being cemetery side of 50.

Just to clarify, the like I gave MS wasn't because I agree with what he's saying it was for this, which made me laugh

I have invited half a dozen people who used to post regularly on the old Forum but didn't like it.

Hopefully some of them will give this one a go.

Of course there are idiots who just insult other posters on there with over 3000 members but there are quite a few astute & thoughtful posters who make interesting contributions.
