Following yesterday's performance we certainly need to improve our squad very quickly!

Kennyyg:  Think I read somewhere that a compensation fee was available BUT only if he joined another Premiership club. No compensation was payable if he joined a European outfit.

Less than a fortnight to go before season kicks off and yet again, we seem to be failing in attracting talent to The Hawthorns. Hardly surprising - what player worth his salt would consider joining a Pulis team unless he was desperate.

Meant to have agreed a fee for Sakho from West Ham, 16m apparently.

Worldclass, I agree, sell him but not give him away, he is easy worth more than the twenty million on offer, the chances of getting his true value is diminishing so get someone in and get him out.

Blimey - Arsenal interested in Evans? Would we let him go? A pretty big player for us now..... any idea how much he cost us? (Wiki says "undisclosed fee "). Would we stand in the way of a move like that for him?

Things seem to be (on the verge of) happening at last!

West Brom have agreed a £15m fee to sign Diafra Sakho from West Ham, but the 26-year-old forward is unsure about the move. (Daily Mail) So don`t do it then no skin off my nose.

I understood Evans cost us about £6m. I would not sell him but that's quite a tidy profit.

Sakho has agreed to join (according to Telegraph) and it will be complete within 48 hrs. This means Berahino will almost certainly be gone by end of the week.

Things are starting to happen. It's alway an August thing for us. Don't know why we fret through all of July Doh

I think its time for a reality check for me. I come on here and another 10 websites every hour, every day looking for any news BUT I need to get real because I hate to say it but we simply are quite embarrassing.

Sakho really doesn't want to come to us and who can blame him. He is obviously holding out for a more attractive club. The club although well run has been on the downward spiral since Dan Ashworth left. It turns out he was our best signing of the past decade.

It hurts me that others throughout the country think we are a non footballing side and are fodder for the others. Now a lot of you will give me pelters for this but I don't care to be honest, this is ALL down to Pulis. Again the other night he played Dawson, Olsson, McCauley and Evans across the back 4 FFS!!

He still won't give Gamboa and Pocognoli a run out, a proper LB and RB respectively. OK if he doesn't like them then cancel their contracts, pay them off....DO SOMETHING, there are many options....SELL, LOAN, RELEASE and why is LAMBERT still here??

The man is stubborn and we are going nowhere under his management but we ARE getting a more and more unattractive proposition for decent players.

I really hope that if this takeover happens they get rid of Pulis immediately.

You know you're at the bottom of the list when clubs like Stoke, Bournemouth, Swansea are deemed a more attractive option. I grew up in the 70's and 80's era and I was so very proud to be an Albion fan BUT this man is ruining the whole reputation of what watching and expecting an Albion team to play like was once known for...........playing attractive, attacking football.

The Ironic thing is I wasn't renewing my season ticket but my Missus got me one. I will not be using it until he goes. I have tried to palm it off on a few Albion mates but no interest, I even said just use it for nothing.....no interest. My Son doesn't want to use it either.

My hope is he will get the boot and I can get back to watching some football.
