I still advocate that if you do not use your vote in an election then do not start xxxx moaning about the government screwing the xxxx arse of you.You had a chance to maybe alter things and you could not be arsed.
Vote in or out I really do not give a shit about it,be shafted whatever way it goes. But I shall vote.I'll still moan.
You can have an opinion but do not moan about being taxed to the bollocks by any government if you do not use your vote to try and change things.
Anyway the way things are going here in UK, the people will be on the streets soon to impose their will. And I might xxxx join them.
I think if the weather is hot enough in the next few weeks the riots will begin.People fed up of austerity, yet the national debt just rises to record high, the Brexiters or the Remainers will be pissed off,and the xxxx pissed up lads will just want to have fun.If the impossible happens and England progress in the Euors to lose on penalties then that could be a trigger for riots.Despite what people say it is a tinder box in certain areas of Sheffield and Rotherham, especially with the right wing marches and the anti fascists opposing them.
Nothing changes,again.

Nothing wrong with that either, just the flipside of the coin. I completely agree with your sentiment of how things are going in the UK Only disagreement I'd have is the same as my previous post.
I've voted, and not voted. I've seen it makes no difference, you could argue if more people that didn't vote, did vote it might, but again any progress made by the people would be held up by red tape in the commons and courts. Elections are bought, sold and stolen. So if all voting does, is give someone the 'right' to complain then it is still in effect, pointless in my opinion of course.
I learned a long time ago that in most countries you get what you're given and you'll like it. We all live under a Dictatorship, some are just more blatantly oppressive than others.

I know it's not perfect and the weather is always worth a grumble but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the world. Except Australia, but the wife won't entertain it!
PS. One hundred degrees is the boiling point of water in the modern world!
I was the same until I moved away in 2001. Always liked to travel and see new places but never considered really moving away from Sheffield, then the opportunity came up and we moved to the US. Said we would give it a try for a couple of years but always reserved the right with my company to move back if it didn't work out, but the longer we stayed here the less we wanted to move back. For a time I found it a bit depressing going back to Sheffield, in our world it didn't compare to what we had here in the US but over time I have just come to the conclusion that it is simply different, not necessarily worse but just different, and we felt the good things we had here outweighed the good things we would have there. Over the years I have come to appreciate the good things about Britain more and more, such as the history, the quaint towns, the proper pubs and of course the football but our overall standard of living is much better here so I do not see myself ever moving back.

That's a great way of putting it, SCO!
Though for me, those good things you mentioned are becoming a thing of the past.

Corries Kym Marsh Furious Over Sex Tape Scandal
Corrie star Kym Marsh is “furious" and feeling “humiliated” after a video showing her engage in lewd acts was touted for sale to the highest bidder. The sex tape has already been offered to a national newspaper for £30,000 and Kym, who plays barmaid Michelle McDonald in Coronation Street is said to terrified at the thought of the private video being made public.
I say enough of this referendum bollocks and suggest we club together to buy the video and view it to see if it really does show her in lewd acts before we return it to her.
Nothing changes,again.
