And the violence begins again as a big England match looms in Euro 2016!!!
My response to your 1st line/ill-informed comment is: NO, THE ENGLAND PROBLEM IS NOT 'ALL THAT I SEE' AND START READING THREADS PROPERLY OR DON'T COMMENT AT ALL EH!! Cool You clearly don't like the criticism and that's the real crux of the matter but don't make inaccurate insinuations FFS Thumb down The rest of your thread #180 is not even worth commenting on apart from saying the person with the real 'beef' is you, it's just utter drivel designed to try and glean some kinda reaction and deflect away from the deserved criticism of England and certain factions of English fans/morons who profess that they represent their country at Euro 2016 in such a disgraceful fashion!! I expect the next thing you'll be saying is the 'England problem' is an illusion, it never happened! Rolleyes

Get that chip off your shoulder 0762, I've no problems with anyone on here from Scotland.

I'm here and I'm telling you what I've seen but you just can't get past having a pop all the time

That's the bitter and twisted jealousness of most Scotland fans.
You've just shown yourself to be that 0762....bitter twisted and jealous.
Time to start thinking about your own team...rather than look stupid when slagging off England.

Chip on the shoulder, jealousy, bitter and twisted?? What a loada inciting tosh!!! Thumb down Lets divert to the name-calling and any other method you can employ in order to deflect from a topic that you clearly don't like and is a relevant one whether you like it or not! The criticism is valid and it's time for both of you to grow up!! Rolleyes So there's no violence today - THE DAMAGE IS DONE AND NO FOOTBALL EXPERIENCE ON THE PITCH, GOOD OR BAD, WILL DISGUISE THAT FACT EITHER!!! Deja vu on that score and will it ever change with England and certain fans' disgraceful shenanigans off the pitch??? When the full events of Euro 2016 are compiled and published later on, this whole troublesome episode, that started in Marseille from day 1, will certainly be well highlighted and rightly so! A disgrace!

I think 0762 should know what the press/ TV are like after the misreporting of the scenes at the end of the Scottish Cup Final. They have their own agenda so as to get the biggest readership/ viewership as possible.

England fans have unfortunately built this reputation up over many years and realise there is NO SMOKE WITHOUT FIRE but they now have to live with being targeted not only by the press and authorities but also by sections of other countries fans who light the blue touchpaper and retreat.I'm sure this has happened in France and there then has been a section of fans who have been filmed acting badly ( usually younger who want to be hard!)  for which all fans get tarred with the same brush....wrongly. I was not on the pitch at Hampden, most of those that were , were having a good time, but I have been asked numerous times about the trouble and how bad Hibs fans are......this image has been stoked up by the press and to start with, trying to take the blame completely away from Rangers for the fighting.

A large number of people out for a good time and copious alcohol will lead to a certain amount of trouble wherever they are whether it is in a holiday resort, a football tournament or even any town throughout England on a Saturday night. It depends how high up the agenda the press et al want to place it. Being a football tournament it is placed high.

You could also add to that the fact that this whole violent behavioural pattern is a male phenomenon - plying groups/gangs of hyper active male fans with alcohol and throwing them together into a highly charged atmosphere, where football stirs various emotions, incl national pride, and hey presto we have a lethal cocktail that leads to the unacceptable violent behaviour that is indeed synonymous with England and certain factions of it's fans, albeit a nasty minority! The noticeable difference now is the fact there are other offenders who will have a go as well.

The venues were irrelevant. Make a draw and then change it a few days later to pander to a bunch of hooligans ?. Only for them to kick off wherever you put them. **** that. This tournament isn't just about England ffs.

Where did I say it was just about England? Just because you only pick up on English press reports what makes you think we are the only ones with a few numpties?

And maybe explain it to you in a bit more obvious language. Imre got this but you didn't, England v Wales was played in the smallest stadium to be used in the competition, when it could easily have filled out a much bigger one. Meanwhile, Norn Iron are playing Ukraine in a much bigger stadium where many seats are empty. That's what I mean by does it make sense.

You do understand the concept of how a draw is made in football tournaments ?

I can explain it to you in a couple of minutes if you need help.
