She should have been deported back in 2004 when she was found guilt and sentenced to jail!! This sort of story is exactly why Calais is full of immigrants trying to get into the UK.

I highly doubt here ever were any 'traffickers' involved in this particular case. She never gave them up so that no one else had to go through her supposed nightmare did she? She went with the sympathy card when she'd been caught.. And as for the alleged nightmare. How are you working several jobs and claiming over 25k in Child benefits and still be destitute?
British people are becoming so gullible its at the point of stupidity. Dangerous precedents have been set over recent years. When something is wrong, then it should be addressed for the good of all. Not just addressed when someone white/working class says or does something wrong. Everyone seems to love to pipe up then, don't they? Again, never in my life seen such rife hypocrisy.

The thread was quite active yesterday, with a lot of guests reading this.
It's one thing to be silently opinionated, it's another to be spineless.. Topic change! We can talk about the cumulus and nimbus clouds above the UK? That shouldn't get anyone in a sweat I'm currently experiencing the unpleasantry of nimbus clouds. However, the weather will break later at which point I shall endeavour to singe meats on the open flame!

Getting my stuff ready to lead a raid on Froggieland week after next.
The annual run to the 24h of Le Mans is coming up. There's due to be a fuel strike on the day I arrive! My previous car would have got me there and most of the way back on one tank-full. The current rocket-ship will just about do 400 miles if I drive like Miss Daisy.

The problem with this whole thing is that no one knows what the effects of pulling out will be on the UK or on the EU, don't care what Boris et al say, we simply don't know what will happen as it's never been done before. On the other side, we do know what we get from being in the EU, maybe we need a better deal but it is a known thing and I still think we are better off being able to negotiate with the rest of the world as the EU rather than the UK. I truly think the immigration thing is a nonsense, we can control that now if we want and it would have zero effect on the hordes in Calais waiting to get in illegally anyway.

it would have effect overnight on the hords that are legal to come into britain like Russia albania Romania and the old eatern block sending millions back and stoping Millions coming in helping conserve Jobs ( IF THERE WHERE ANY FFS ) in the construction trade that the imigrants from calias wont cant or dont want to do and although your point is valid charlie i dont see what weve got to lose quite frankly as we have nothing left i dont vote never have never will its bullshit and im above the law anyway as you all know but i think this vote is actually worth voting for as it could make considerable change unlike the elections where we change one rat for another one in different clothes

Good points, I agree with issues both Charlie & imre raise.
My problem is the powers that be have created such a smoke & mirror show over the ordeal the leyman has no chance of grasping the entire premise. It seems to me staying ensures a stronger economy. Now you can ask, 'What economy'? because there's no Industry left, people have never been poorer in England, reliance on food banks at an all time high. Wages couldn't be worse, and there's barely a semblance left of a healthcare system. Regardless of what people believe, the country needs Immigration reform, as to what the perfect answer is? Impossible to know due to the dire state of hypocrisy and double standards applied to it. There are loop holes that continue to allow non-EU migrants to almost freely walk into the country, bypassing pages and pages of necessary information entry forms that the like of you and I have to fill out, simply by ticking the box claiming Asylum. Britians own use of the US's 'Affirmative Action' (Positive Discrimination) then gave middle management jobs, by default to minorities. Some of which are manipulating the system from within to suit certain groups and deny others even their basic rights. "Oooh you can't say that" some of you will say. You'd have to be deliberately not paying attention to miss it. Or, you certainly have not tried to exercise any of your 'rights' lately. Leaving sounds just as bad as staying, giving our Oligarchy even more power is terrifying. However, allowing this shit to continue will only result in Britain ceasing to be in every sense of the word. I've tried to make heads & tails of this 'Full Fact' website which is allegedly independent. There's hours of reading and some of it is contradictory... Enjoy. https://fullfact.org/europe/
