Of course they are LS - as expected and 'true to form'!!! IMO this is the start of the usual shit that is attached to England and big  factions of their unruly fans that goes back decades! Here we go again - a potential disgrace looming ever closer!! I'm watching tonight's violent scenes on ITV news as these morons, wearing England shirts, are clashing with Russian fans and French riot Police and what's already become self evident is the poisonous atmosphere that has been created in Marseilles well before a game of international football, which may well be overshadowed by more of this predicted violence. God help them when approx 15k-20k proud Welsh fans show up for their next match in Lens where there will be no ban on alcohol consumption!! Rolleyes Mind-boggling stuff!!

Let's hope the "proud" Welsh fans are not the same ones who follow Cardiff and cause trouble wherever they go!!!

I'll stick to historical evidence that shows Welsh international football fans are not generally associated with troublesome behaviour in Euro or World Cup ties!!!! Indeed the Bordeaux Police have commended the behaviour and subsequent great atmosphere in the city - compare that with the poisonous atmosphere in Marseilles!!!! The same goes for Scotland fans down the years - impeccable behaviour and previously awarded in recognition of being great fans in behaviour and support!! I'd apply a similar view to the behaviour of Russian fans and others. Suddenly we throw in Engerland and certain factions of their awful fans 'into the mix' and, hey ho, there's violence on the public streets with said well behaved other fans!!! THE COMMON FACTOR IS ENGLAND AND CERTAIN FACTIONS OF THEIR FANS AND ANY FOOL CAN SEE THAT!!! Google the issue FFS - peruse the facts and don't defend the indefensible!

And then they wonder why they get tear gassed and skelped. Arseholes.

Aye hibeejim! And listen to the shit excuses re 'being picked on' - the 'offended party'routine etc!!! Rolleyes I've listened to this verbal crap in previous similar scenarios down the years where ENGLAND AND IT'S FANS ARE THE COMMON FACTOR AS USUAL. There are lotsa other countries and their fans involved in Euro 2016 and I see no probs with them and don't expect it either. I must say as soon as this problem escalates - IMO TURF ENGLAND OUT OF THE TOURNEY AND BE DONE WITH IT!! A piece of hard line management of such a tourney wouldn't go amiss for a change!! Tell them to GTF and lets move towards a cordial Euro 2016 again - the way it should've been all along!

England fans make themselves such a bad joke. I can understand an hour or two before a big game being excited, but days before our lot are sitting in cafes swilling beer taking off their shirts to reveal bodies that could never be successfully involved in any sport other than darts and singing and chanting as though they are at a game. They are someone's sons, someone's brothers, they're the fathers of children, some are even grandads ........ and they are white straight blokes only. Women don't do it, black men don't do it, I've never read about gay football fans devastating a city centre, transgender incidences total 0. So what makes white men fuel their sad little semi-erect cocks with testosterone and head out onto foreign streets to chant inanely and create an atmosphere of incipient violence in a place where they should be behaving as guests? No wonder French Riot police can't calm them down. They're used to riots. In France this constitutes a riot. They've no idea this is what passes for normal with this variety of naked ape.

As usual we'll engage in the game of who provoked what and by who. And as with something like Orgreave we'll be asking who started it, who charged who ran ......... and we'll never get to grips with the real problem that it shouldn't be like that anyway. Set up two opposing lines of soldiers and surprise surprise you get a war. It shouldn't be riot police, they shouldn't be like that, because it shouldn't look like a riot. Our fans shouldn't be acting like pricks ...... just because they are. If we wanted to stop it we could. We should ask the French to deport anyone they decide is involved, to stamp their passport DEPORTED and when they get back to England that passport should be destroyed and never replaced. Family pressure on these sons, brothers, fathers, uncles and grandads would be so intense once it was realised there would be no more family trips abroad we'd never hear of such a problem again.

I'm afraid I can be pretty hard-line as a socialist. Castro never confused socialism with liberalism, but we do it all the time. Drag 'em home by their fat tattoos and never let them scar the rest of the world again ......... We can't expect the French to behave as if we're normal if we don't conform to the standards they expect.

I work on an 80/20 rule.

80%, at least, of fans are just that. Excited and wanting to enjoy football in all its guises. The 20% exist in all countries and they are pure scum hell bent on trouble and have no interest in what anyone thinks.

Use water canons, tear gas, rubber bullets and imprison them. If you're an innocent you will have walked away, or even avoided these areas in the first place when the early warning signs start.

I am, the first time in ages, excited to see what England can do and so am ashamed again of the fans that do this.

As said previously, an outright ban is in order when this prob escalates - England removed, their fans can f### off home and what a strong message that would send out to everyone - TOUGH BUT STRAIGHT TO THE POINT!! And then we can move to a cordial Euro 2016. It's ultimately only a game of footie anyway - if they persist in trying to ruin a decently organised Euro tourney, IMO remove the lot of them and explain why they've been penalised - FOR THE COMMON GOOD OF THE GAME!!

You have to remember also that in the current environment the french police/security forces are extremely nervous and under a lot of pressure.

Im not advocating england getting thrown out of the competition, that would be unfair to the decent fans out there who are just wanting to enjoy the games. But if england fans are going to fight with locals and taunt the police they needn't whine about the consequences.

I'm afraid just chucking us out of the tournament would mean at the next tournament in which we've got a genuine chance of doing quite well the foreign equivalent of our idiots will do everything to provoke more English idiocy.

If the French knew they could round up anyone even vaguely involved and once they were back in England they'd be there forever passportless ......... they'd watch the trouble dissipate as the news percolated into even the thickest British fan's skull.
