91-9 still needing another eight runs to avoid the follow on.
All out for 91. Brilliant bowling and Anderson has a five for.
Sri Lanka to follow on.
And after two balls they're off for bad light.

Hales threw his wicket away. Dug in and got within touching distance of 100 and instead of making sure he got there he did that.
Bairstow seems to have been on a different wicket to everyone else. But thats what form does for you. He'll be hoping he doesnt have to bat again this test!

Missed the end of the test match because those idiots ran on the pitch at Hampden.
England win by an innings and 88 runs.

Test series is going to be one sided, Sri Lanka have had two warm up game, how you can acclimatise in that period of time is anybody's guess, sadly TV companies rule and ruin the roost in respect of cricket and most sports.
Long for a return of season long tours and test played with a 10 day interval.
Finally Sky have told the ECB they wish a 20/20 to be played on a Saturday for TV coverage, Lancashire had to play(or in their case forgot to play yesterday) but no TV coverage as there was a Test match on. Consequently the ground was virtually empty with the game clashing with the Test, and Cup Final, personal wish Sky would go bankrupt

In all fairness sri lanka could have done a lot more to get their guys redy. The ecb do that for England during ashes tours and tours to the subcontinent normally.
You may ask how they could do it with it being early season, but in answer to that, counties warm up against university sides so they could easily have slotted in against a yorkshire or something along those lines, also they could have had a couple of 2/3 dayers against uni sides or a combined uni side etc. I wouldnt levy all the blame onto sky, they are very much culpable but the sri lankan board/organisers are not exemp.
As for stokes , apparently he's been ignoring captains orders at durham and bowling through the pain albeit a different injury but it hampened his build up to this test as he sat out training a lot.
Another note, I've noticed a lot of people dont rate woakes and consider him to be a county bowler. I think he is one of those that was mismanaged by previous regimes and its shown with how he bats & bowls at Warwickshire and also other players that have played for england.
It has been said that carberry was told to restrain himself on that dreadful ashes tour by flower instead of playing his natural game. Same has happened to a few players who have been told to change things. Farbrace said in an interview after the test that players are no longer told to do that and instead are told to play in the exact way that got them selected in the first place. No more telling a blocker to be aggressive or vice versa

Yeah that was my impression. He can be replaced though but they're probably going to use an out and out bowler
