Should be a good occasion on Saturday. A proper Showpiece Final, if you will.
Hibs will be well up for it, but I don't know how they'd handle losing an early goal. Think they might just crumble if that happens. On the other hand if Hibs score the first, then there's something to fight for, and defending deep might suit them on that big pitch.
My guess would be they'll revert to that game plan sooner or later anyway, no matter the score. The Rangers possession game will kick in and the only remaining quibble for me is will Rangers take enough of their chances to win the game.

Its not the early goals that kill us Tru but the ones in the last minute / second .

Yep, congratulations to Hibs on a deserved win. We haven't reached any sort of decent level since beating celtic and the number of poor individual performances we had today suggests to me that Warburton hasn't managed to get the players refocused. Disappointing that we won't have a crack at Europe next season.

Aye Larry, the pitch invasion was totally wrong. Police should have foreseen the possibility that Hibs might win and due to all the hype surrounding this what it would mean to their supporters. Just having stewards round the edge who cannot stop fans till they reach the pitch was never going to be enough. I apologise for the behaviour towards your players etc, totally unacceptable....and we will hear more of this in the next few weeks. The people I saw get hurt most were Hibs fans when they ventured towards the Rangers end and your fans joined the fray, one who got a very bad kicking. A line of police across the halfway line at the end would have prevented this as your fans wouldn't have come on the pitch.....probably.
Hard luck on the day, 2 cracking goals from Rangers and I am sure you will be back at the final again before too long.
