2016/17 (Jan 30 Update) WBA January Transfer Window

According to the papers - Rickie Lambert looks set to leave, no surprises, maybe on a free transfer having started only one Premier League game this season.

Plus Victor Anichebe and Stephane Sessegnon will leave as free agents and James Morrison is wanted by former club Middlesbrough.

Also West Brom are ready to ship out Sebastien Pocognoli and Cristian Gamboa.

Really am lost with this idea of letting Sessegnon go

Great shame if Morrison leaves.

I can understand the logic in letting both Sessegnon and Morrison go, yes they are our 2 most creative midfielders, but at 31 and 29 they are no spring chickens and have issues with attitude and injuries, respectively. With both struggling to find any consistency over the past couple of seasons, I feel with a bit of investment we could improve upon both and reduce the average age of the squad.

However, it is highly likely that Pulis would replace them with more 'aard-working dross like Gardner and McClean.

I`d take Enrique,Phillips, and Robson-Kanu all available on free transfers which would suit Jeremy Peace down to the ground.

Not sure.

How much was it worth to see Spurs, without enough strikers, completely bottle the last month of the season?

Pretty priceless... Big Grin

Anyway, Levy only offered a few Quid as a down payment with the rest paid in instalments over the next 50 years.
