Lyth lbw first ball. Shocker! Would've missed by a foot. Shocking!

Balance gone and now Joe Root, in his first CC match for 18 months, is out first ball.

24-3.

Lunch 122-4. Only Ballance's wicket was the correct one. Lyth and Bairstow bad lbw decisions and Root caught at slip after the ball first hit the ground.

Englands chairman of selectors has been in telebox discussing the summer of tests and my question is how can moeen be selected down the order as a spinner when he has appeared to struggle in div two? He's scored some runs so how come he is always an after thought or make do up the order?

Especially when you have someone like rash who is arguably the best spinner in the country and can hold the bat too.

With the right jigging of the line up england could have two spinners and allow for another bowling allrounder into the line up ala plunkett.

Just a thought...

118 to win from 13 overs.
7 wickets in hand.

100 for Lees.

Boot's on t' other foot now.
Notts have five overs to take three wickets.

They were bowling some right rubbish earlier trying to stop our brave boys scoring.
Bowling at the wickets now. Only need two more.
