Not the greatest of games, but not the worst. The last 40 or so minutes was very open and I thought DU were going to win it.
That attendance is evidence that this game should have been played elsewhere.

Who would have thought 9 months ago that come the end of this season we'd be battling Hibs, not for promotion, but for a place in Europe?

I think this gap between our last league game and the cup final is going to seem huge. We've got 3 weeks to keep ticking over, and while I think Warburton's the right man to make sure we're as prepared as we can be, lack of match sharpness would be my biggest concern. That definitely counted against Hibs last season in the first leg of the playoff semi final after they'd taken a holiday to Spain. Of course hibs could have the opposite problem of too many games if they finish behind Falkirk in the league and if they manage to get to the playoff final. Their last league game is 1st May, then the playoff games are currently scheduled for 4th, 7th, 11th, 15th, 19th & 22nd May, with the SC final on the 21st. There's no way they can have the final on those dates if it does end up being Hibs, although the first leg should be manageable on that date given the precedent of 2008.

Hibs looked spent after 70 mins on Saturday season might just be catching up with them

Their season's been no longer than ours - poor management would be to blame if that's the case. Have they no sports science department?
The only one of our lads that looked tired on Sunday was Kenny Miller and he looked disappointed when subbed.

Nice kickabout with some decent players. Nice.
And, as Warburton says, it strengthens the relationship between the two clubs.
