Semi final day then. Just had a quick glance at my phone and NZ look to be going well. Target should be around 170-180. Have to try and keep it below 160 if we can.

Wickets falling - we might keep them around 160-165
153-8 - brilliant

Aye. Would've settled for that at the start of play. Looks like some good death bowling from Stokes and Jordan.
Right lads. No cock ups. Well that looks a good start. 67-0 (6) Can't believe none of the pubs in Edinburgh have got the cricket on. Oh here we go. Hales out. My battery's running down an all.

Two wickets in 2 balls - after Roy knocked 78 off them. 110-3, hat trick ball calmly played by Butler. Morgan out lbw first ball. Butler and Root need to steady the ship again.
Job done - hammered 'em in the end.

Easy.

Boom - that's what happens when everything gels and works at the same time. Great cricket from England, deserve to be in the final for that performance.

NZ peaked too soon. Should always lose your first group match.

Mid point but looks like Indian v England now that Gale has gone cheaply

It looked that way, but major points of luck went the Windies way, like two wickets off of no balls. Doh!
Final on Sunday. England v West Indies. Bring it on! |
