And so the World 20/20 gets underway on Tuesday the 8th of March. Well sort of. That's when the preliminary round starts. The proper games start a week later.
First up then are two preliminary groups lined up as such:-
First Round
Group A - Bangladesh, Ireland, Netherlands, Oman.
Group B - Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Scotland, Zimbabwe.
The team that finishes top of each group then goes through to the next round and into the groups which line up so:-
Super 10 (Group 1) - England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Group B winner
Super 10 (Group 2) - Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Group A winner
