Football League Bets

QPR v Hull City

Hull have been good for low goals away all season with 10 out of 12 matches failing to reach 2,5 goals. QPR have been low home scorers recently with 4 out of 5 dropping short of 2.5 goals. Bet Two Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.78.

Birmingham v Brentford

This looks like a high corners match. The Blues' last six home corners totals have been 14-14-11-13-11-13 while the Bees' last five away corner totals have been 11-14-14-13-15. Bet Four Points on Over 10.5 Corners at 1.825.

Burnley v Ipswich

This should be a high corners match as well. The Clarets' last six home corner totals have been 17-16-13-12-12-11 while the Tractor Boys' last six away corner totals have been 12-11-11-16-15-13. Bet Four Points on Over 10.5 Corners at 1.825.

Fulham v Sheff Wed

There should be goals here with 9 of Fulham's 12 home matches clearing 2.5 goals while 5 of Wednesday's last 6 away matches also went over this line. Bet Two Points on Over 2.5 Goals at 1.90.

Preston v Rotherham

This should be a low scoring match. Eight of Preston's last nine at home have failed to reach 2.5 Goals while 4 of the Millers' last 5 on the road have also fallen short of the line. Bet Two Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 4/6.

Burton v Blackpool

I favour high corners here. Ten of the Brewers' last 11 at home have gone over 10.5 Corners at an average of 13.4 while 5 of the Tangerines' last eight away have also cleared this line at an average of 12.0. Bet Two Points on Over 10.5 Corners at 8/11.

Scunthorpe v Wigan

I like high corners here. The Iron's last five home corner totals have been 13-13-10-20-18 while the Latics' away totals have been 21-6-17-7-16. There are risks but I bet Two Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.90.

Yeovil v York

This should be a low corners match. Yeovil have been good for low corners all season with 8 of their last 11 at home failing to reach 10.5 corners. York have been low away recently with 5 of their last 6 failing to reach this line at an average of 8.0. Bet Two Points on Under 2.5 Corners at 1.875.

Correct Score Bets:

Burnley v Ipswich 0-1 1-2
Leeds v MK Dons 1-0 2-1
Middlesbrough v Derby 0-0 1-0
Walsall v Rochdale 2-0 2-1

Good Luck!

Branden Grace & Andy Sullivan lead the betting. Sullivan at 17/2 is a decent price but I prefer to go with bigger prices.

Trevor Fisher Junior 50/1

He has good record on this course & finished 2015 in form so is value at the price.

Heine Otto 55/1

Another player who likes the Glendower course, finishing 2nd & 13th in the last two years.

Christiaan Bezuidenhout 300/1

This is a bit of a punt but he has the credentials at a massive price. He had six wins in 2015 on the Big Easy Tour & Sunshine Tour including one on this course. Could give a decent run at a big price.

Hyundai Tournament of Champions

A decent quality field with Speith at 5/1, Day at 6/1 and Dustin at 8/1.

Think it is more open than that so going for slightly better prices.

Justin Thomas 28/1

Won backing Thomas last season & could easily smash up this course at a decent price.

Graeme McDowell 25/1

If any player finished 2015 in form, it was McDowell with a 1st & a 3rd in December. He is also well suited to this sort of course and shouldn't be affected by the wind.

Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.

Christiaan Bezuidenhout 300/1 -2 Tied 20th

All three of our players had the worst of the conditions today so hopefully the weather evens out tomorrow and our players get the best of it. Despite that, we have a 300/1 shot in 20th place.

Can I just say that Christiaan Bezuidenhuit is one shot off the lead in the South African Open. I am on at 300/1. I hope a few of my Wednesday buddies are on as well.

Go Bez!
