That's because in reality its a shite trophy that you have to play in due to your league position!!  No-one outside of the teams that are in it care about it anyway, its the same as the Football League trophy in England!!

It was the single largest sporting event in the country this weekend. Twenty-two thousand people cared enough about it to attend. It should have merited some sort of media representation.

Maybe it should have got some attention but again outside of those taking part no one really cares!!  Thankfully for you 22,000 cared enough to turn up for the game and now you have a final and the chance to win something to look forward to, but I would bet that while that game is likely to be on tv, the viewing figures will still be low.  And lets be right, if half of your usual home attendance were not interested enough to attend why would you think anyone else is interested??  I am not having a go, its a great crowd, we were in our equivalent a few seasons back and we couldn't attract a crowd of more than 10k for these games!!
