Surely the most important thing here is staff are being paid the living wage.

Aye I would agree with that Coop

Bloody hell, you Scots will argue about anything!!!! Introducing a living wage is a good thing surely, irrespective of who does it and what has gone on in the past!!! The whole of the football world has left debts in its trail over the past 20 years, finally we are starting to see some financial sanity in Scotland at least and that has to be a good thing.
Besides, the most important thing this week was the boards decision to pay off the Ashley loan and start the process of moving him out of the club.

The BBC report Trus posted shows yet again the ignorance (or wilful bias) of the reporter.
The Oldco has not been 'liquidated', if it had been liquidated it would not exist, FFS !!! The decision was in relation to Murray Group companies, including the liquidated company RFC 2012 - formerly The Rangers Football Club PLC.

The wilful denial of simple, basic and easy to understand facts by a large proportion of people who should know better, has become extremely tedious. The Daily Record's own article on this news today labels the use of EBTs as "illegal" when the basic facts are that they aren't, weren't at any stage and cannot become "illegal" simply because a Court of Session panel says they should be subject to taxation in their opinion. Their propagandist agenda is so apparent it's indefensible.

Attention grabbing is all it is Larry. So it would seem nothing has been proven if appeal is granted. The tub thumpers will be up in arms again.
And i mean tax payments due. |
