What exactly has 'taken place'? Nothing has changed, EBTs are still not illegal. The tax is due on them (pending appeal) that's all.

trus you are simply wrong
9 out of 10 tax evasion cases are settled with out criminal prosecution http://2fwww.ft.com%2fcms%2fs%2f0%2f23b7...zy11JypKWM-
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/ex-ra...r-15-years

says quite clearly that Mr Whyte was done for evasion
the EBTs (when done incorrectly as rangers did) and the DOS are both defined as evasion by HMRC

as I said and you ignored as normal not all evasion results in criminal convictions
Rangers have been found guilty (pending appeal of course) on 3 occasions

EBTs are a tax avoidance scheme. They DO NOT become a tax evasion scheme if a tax liability is found by a court. They CAN NEVER BE a tax evasion scheme.

EBTs are NOT illegal, they are not criminal and therefore 'guilt' cannot be apportioned in any possible way. Rangers were not found guilty.

As usual, you're full of sh*t. What an embarrassment you are.

Not paying PAYE is illegal though, did Craig Whyte pay that bill?

Craig Whyte doesn't pay bills. Again though, that isn't tax evasion. That's just not paying tax.
