Yorkshire welcome back Adam Lyth and Jonny Bairstow to Championship action after their exploits with England in the Ashes.

With Adil Rashid and Liam Plunkett away on international duty, there is an opportunity for spinner James Middlebrook to return to the senior side and there is also a call-up for Australian batsman Aaron Finch, who has returned to the Club following his foot injury. Finch played for the 2nd XI last week and scored 60 in the first innings against Nottinghamshire at Stamford Bridge and a century in the second innings.

Batsman Jack Leaning misses out along with wicketkeeper Andrew Hodd.
