So, everybody underwhelmed ?
As Tidy says, a keeper and a centre back.

Pretty sure that any incoming deals deals were reliant on cash from Saido's sale - so if that's fell through, that would explain why we wont be doing any business.

Guessing the club were expecting that to happen and hence why Pulis said more would be incoming. Peace has already relaxed the purse strings far more than usual, so I'd expect him to sanction little else on the basis that he's probably receiving about £30m less than he expected this window...

Would've been nice to get a winger in, but Saido is a better player than some of the 'replacements' we were linked with - so not all doom and gloom if he stays. Just hope he isn't sold at the 11th hour without anyone income - which wouldn't surprise me...

I pretty well think that Spurs could offer £40m and Peace would still tell Levy to 'do-one'.

It turned into a battle of wills, JP v's Levy. Only ever gonna be one winner.

Trouble is though guys, SB is useless unless you can get the ball to him and he decides he does actually want to play for us.

Sky says that Pulis has left the office along with Dave Kemp. Looks like that's all our business done for the day then. Disappointingly few signings but oh well. Time to knuckle down and got on with the job in-hand.

I also feel like West Ham might have nipped-in ahead of us on the Moses and Antonio deals. I'm fairly certain that we would have been seriously in on those two and imagine it came down to the players' choice rather than the amount of £ we offered. Shame but sign of the times - West Ham playing decent football, made a load of signings and set to move into the Olympic stadium; as much as I hate to say it, to a player they must look like a club on the up.
