And both of our wing backs got a wee go at being strikers for the first goal.

Unbeaten in 8, 100% record from our past 2 matches. Against the Blue Brazil we won by more than 2 goals for the first time since we beat Kilmarnock 3-0 on 30th November, and we saw goals from a striker, a midfielder and a defender. We only conceded because of an enormous individual error, and other than that we were defensively solid. All this with players missing through injury and international commitments.

Thumb up

Unbeaten in 9 now. 100% record from our last 3 matches. We've got another monkey off our back by beating Hearts (even with 10 men for the whole 2nd half), we're finally getting goals from our strikers regularly and we're up to 2nd in the league with a game in hand.

Much praise to McCall for the way he's got things moving for us again, but even looking back earlier we've only lost 1 league game in 2015, and we haven't deserved to lose any since we were hammered by Hibs at the end of December. We've gone from improving our play but not getting results to actually getting those results, which is a very encouraging bit of progression.

Best thing for me is going from having 100% certainty that we couldn't get promoted this season to believing now that we can.

Easy to be positive this week - smashing result at Easter Road in the Petrofac Training Cup, average of 6 goals scored per match and 100% record in all competitions this season to date.

100% on target scoring rate.

60% attempts to goals ratio.

New signings in amongst and creating goals.

Old signings in amongst and creating goals.

Optimism brimeth over.

Ive heard a few neutrals say similar El Car. It does make a refreshing change to see stylish footy at the top of the agenda these days. I hope Gers can keep it up and go on and do a Hearts, and rise to the top of the spl at first try.

Daily Record twists the man's words - he thinks we're capable of scoring 8 or 9 in a game.

I agree and look forward to it.

That's a pretty ridiculous actual-content-of-article to headline ratio, even for the DR. For those who can't even stomach looking at it, Kiernan basically said they hope they can score that many in any given match, and if everything clicks in the side and everyone hits top form, we might create 25 or so chances and score 8 or 9 in a match at some point.
