Charlie Austin at Bournemouth as we speak having dropped his wage demands, sorry Aries

Lepko has described the Morgan return rumour as "the funniest of the window so far" so it seems to be somewhat wide of the mark.

Well that would be a bit of a shock for Austin to go to Bournemouth. No disrespect intended BB just that with them being one of the favourites to be relegated and Austin being toted around as the must have striker.

Are we missing something as none of the more established clubs have gone in for him, as on current values you would have to say he would be worth around the £15 mil mark.

It's official: the world has goine fekin mad:
Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli, 25, will reject the chance to join Lazio and Sampdoria on loan as he is due a six-figure loyalty bonus if he is still at Anfield when the transfer window closes.

Drewks, I saw that and it made me feel sick. Not that anyone seemed that keen to buy him but you'd think self-respect would trump the pay-off, especially as I'm sure the buyers would have matched it. Does the bloke not want to play football?
In passing, I see Shaqiri says he's 'excited' to be joining Stoke. Let's hope his grasp of English improves soon, eh?

There must be something hidden behind the scenes to result in this Austin to Bournemouth move.

- Injury prone I have heard. Something to do with a shoulder?

Also, he and his agent have messed around this summer waiting for the ultimate bid. Maybe the suitors that would have considered him have moved on to their alternative striker due to price e.g. We have Rondon but maybe if he had cost £10m he would be with us.

Might be regretting being greedy

BERAHINO FUTURE UNCLEAR

Tony Pulis says Saido Berahino's future will remain unclear until the transfer window closes next month.

He said: "If the money's not right he won't go, but if somebody came in and blew you out of the water then the club would think about it.

"I don't want to lose him, if he left I don't think it would be good for his development. He's a regular here, the supporters really appreciate a good player and what he's done for the football club.”

An observation on Twitter which made me chuckle: "Xherdan Shaquiri signs for Stoke, thus becoming the only person ever born in Albania to end up somewhere worse."

Careful lads, I've got some long lost relatives living out that way.
