Bolton have completed the permanent signing of defender Derik Osede from Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The 22-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year deal after his contract at the Bernabeu expired.

Osede has represented the Spain national team at every level between under-16 and under-21 and was part of the under-19 side that won the 2012 UEFA European Championships in Estonia.

The deal is subject to international clearance.

Who knows whether he will make it at this level or not. Obviously was highly rated as a teenager but maybe just hasn't progressed without playing regular football at RM. This could be his chance to get his career moving again.

Remember Ivan Campo ?

Did excellent at Mallorca then failed at RM, only to come to Bolton and re-ignite!

Fernando Hierro now there was a player, a true RM legend and somehow Allardyce got him to Bolton
