Phew! Whistle  Weren't we linked to him earier?

Wolves were after him and are gutted that he chose Cardiff over them. That's quite a few targets that have snubbed Wolves so far... Big Grin

Again - lost a chunk of this thread. I am talking to the developers about the problem - but will try to rebuild over the coming days.

I don't think it matters too much we've done next to no business again with only a month remaining

I'd be more than happy with a player of his ability. The current central defenders still have another season in them, but JE provides a bit more pace. Hope Pulis is looking for the same calibre in his search for a striker and no.10.

Shhhh - don't tell West Ham.

He would be a good signing for us BUT I'd like to see us sort out Wingers,Full Backs & a Striker first!

Every season we do this, every day I look for news on potential new players and this so called take over and NOTHING there to excite me. As usual I am quite underwhelmed and frustrated. Jonny Evans for 10m......No way, he's not that good and you can bet if we are in for him so are others.

i'm sure there is some movement behind the scenes but 'The Albion way' frustrates me.

West Bromwich Albion should avoid spending £10m on 27-year-old Manchester United defender Jonny Evans, according to former Baggies player Daryl Burgess. (Birmingham Mail)

What we expected for £5m a year ago is now valued at £10m. (Almost) FACT!
This is Football Inflation gone seriously mad.
The only winners are the already vastly-overpaid footballers and their ridiculous Agents.

Still, we can get to watch the team on a Monday night!!!!
