Chris Wood to Leeds on 4yr deal.
A much better front man than Nuhiu. He's a great signing for them

Transfer window officially opened today.

Think Wood is over rated.
14 goals in 61 matches over two years is hardly outstanding.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

Wood has been stop/start and never a settled regular.
He will be in the top 5 goalscorers next season

Not totally convinced.
His best spells have been while on loan. He has rarely done well for his parent club.
Since moving to England, his record for his parent clubs has been 13 goals from 73 matches in six years (goal every 5.6 matches).
On loan, he has done better with 33 goals from 158 matches (goal every 4.8 matches).
This isn't much better than the records of Nuhiu & May.

Wednesday eye Portugal young-stars
Sheffield Wednesday's new coach Carlos Carvalhal is lining up two players from his native Portugal to join him at Hillsborough.
Carvalhal wants to sign Portuguese U21 winger Ricardo of Porto, on loan.
And he is also targeting Victor Goncalves,23, who is a midfielder at Gil Vicente and a former Portuguese U21 international.
