I still question how much we were interested in him the same as I didn't think we was interested in Riviere this time last year not a single quote from the club and it's been proven time and time again that the local journos no very little

WBA officials were still in Turkey yesterday, they obviously still believed they had a good chance of striking a deal right to the wire.

I have a great gaping hole in my life this summer - I guess there's no chance we'll be linked with Chris Baird.
Life just isn't the same.

From the express and dingle................NINE PLAYERS..........

Tony Pulis could be set for a surprise bid for Steven Caulker.

After Pulis successfully signed James McClean for £1.5m from relegated Wigan, media reports say that Pulis wants another nine players and has his eye on two young defenders, one being the QPR centre-back.

West Brom are one of three Premier League clubs chasing the signature of Queens Park Rangers winger Matt Phillips.

West Brom could make QPR striker Charlie Austin, 25, the club's record signing. Manager Tony Pulis is interested in signing the England international, who is valued at £15m. (Birmingham Mail)

Club has just announced that Terry Burton & Mervyn Day have departed by mutual consent as part of the club's "ongoing review" into backroom staff performance. Seems a pretty clear verdict that the recruitment they've presided over for the last twelve months hasn't been good enough.
