Dunking biscuits is a disgusting habit Angry you get all that sludge in the bottom of your cuppa Doh

Now if you want to talk about dunking sausage rolls into mushroom soup then that's another matter entirely Big Grin

you only get sludge at the bottom if you dunk too long or try the impossible "double dunk". I'd like to think I'm a master biscuit dunker

never tried dunking a sausage roll into soup. Will give it a go later in the week

There's always a slightly sweaty sausage roll in the heated cabinet in favourite sandwich shop. I've been tempted a few times, but never took the plunge.

Puff and flakey pastries are different .

Flakey has a layer of butter after each fold whereas puff puts the butter in all in one go at the first fold
