His goals clips on youtube show what a dangerous finisher he is and at 8 million him and Bera could become a quality front two.

Sign him up Tony

Defintite potential but I'd be wary of spending 8m on someone who scored less last season than Chris Wood did at the same age in the championship, especially when he's unproven in the premier league. Him and Berahino could be a bit lightweight too, it could be brilliant though.

It would make absolutely no sense for Chelsea to sell him anyway they'll send him out on loan to a Premier League team. He won't be sold

Chelsea sold Sturridge to Liverpool and he's better than Bamford, and I can't see Bamford getting into the Chelsea team, so you never know.

Maybe so but I personally think they'll test him out on loan at a premier league side before making a judgement & I don't think we'd spend £8M on a unproven striker anyway

Bamford will never be good enough for Chelsea, don't think he is good enough for us atm if I'm being honest. Not enough about him imo.

I would rather take a chance on Jordan Rhodes if we are looking at players who have performed in the Championship I'd be very confident that he would hit double figures each season for us

We spent £6 million on the unproven Victor Anichebe and £10 million on the PL-untested Brown Ideye. If we could offload Anichebe, we should stop messing about and go for Charlie Austin.

Charlie Austin has apparently rubbished press rumours that he is about to sign for Newcastle so, perhaps we have a chance after all.

Could we not also tempt relegated Hull with an offer for Tom Huddlestone?
Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.

I've always rated Huddlestone, Silver, but my mate's a Tigers fan, and he says he's been very disappointing this last season.
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

I liked this comment from ' CantelloRocket 78' in the Express and Star on Gignac:

Well it was claimed the other day that at least 6-8 clubs were interested in Gignac, and that he was offered over 80k a week and a large signing on fee to move to the Middle East, so I guess his agent's sat back and waited to see who throws the most money into the ring-

Gignac will probably squeeze a fat wallet into his back pocket, then say ' I've always wanted to play in......er, where are we now?......oh yes, Mexico......'
