Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015

It's not as if he (Carbone) boasts a managerial career steeped in success either. I really liked him as a player though!

Was good until Di Canio arrived. Then he wasn't as good as they thought they were bigger than the club.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

1.2m  Laugh

It's a laughable amount, agreed Thurny!

The most important factor here is that we're now in a position to tell these clubs that usually raid us for our best players, to go F themselves. The amount is insulting, but whether it was 1.2M or 5m. We're no longer a selling club.

Clubs generally offer us nothing compared to what they would bid for the same player at another club

Nice one by Zayatte, kept taking the clubs money but refused to play to keep his international place...

Quality professional that.. xxxx off with you!

I've just seen that Kirkland is re-signing. I know most won't mind. But, I would rather have released stick insect and taken a punt on a young Keeper like Damian Martinez.

We should be in a position to start coaching and nurturing the young players, not only will they command less wages, their best days aren't behind them. Like Kirkland's..

If that was on Owlstalk I don't necessarily believe it. Nothing on newsnow or the offical site that he has re-signed.

Things are getting so boring that I'm off to a Sounders game on Saturday with my eldest daughter but the best bit is that the Pyramid brewery is next to Safeco and Century Link field.

Ten months ago, we let Antonio go for £1.2m. Every player has to have a price but until a player reaches a year left on their contract then we dictate that price.

10 months ago we were being run by MM though and was running a policy of one in one out (when actually buying players that is)
